Academic Support
Trinity offers a wide range of resources to make sure we meet students where they are. From small class sizes to academic intervention services, support is in place to help your child reach our high academic standards.
Small Class Sizes
Our classes are already set up for success with an average class size of 10. With differentiated instruction and individual attention, our students excel. Parent communication is a priority and strengthens the partnership between school and home.
Resource Room
Resource Room provides a time for students to meet with their teacher to develop skills that need extra practice. Resource Room is by teacher invitation depending on academic need, so that every child who attends receives one-on-one or small group intervention. It is held weekly after school until 4:15 PM.
Academic Intervention Services (AIS)
AIS is provided for ELA and Math. Our AIS instructors provide small group instruction once a week during school hours. The AIS instructors work closely with the classroom teachers to provide support for the topics the students are learning in the classroom. AIS instructors may also work with students to master previously taught foundational skills in reading and math to provide the necessary building blocks for progress.
West Seneca Special Education
If a student qualifies through the Individualized Education Plan process, WS Special Education teachers offer services in our building during the school day. These services can include speech, occupational therapy, and academic resource room support.
